| Looking back through some of the older Sonic media, I wondered about something. In Sonic Adventure/SADX Eggman starts making his E-series robots, and names them for the letters of the Greek alphabet. Gamma, Beta, Epsilon, Delta, all the way to Omega in Sonic Heroes. Omega is the final letter in the Greek alphabet, so it makes sense that Omega is the last E-series robot. But Eggman's first E-series robot was E-101 Beta. The first letter of the Greek alphabet is ALPHA. So why wasn't the first E-series robot codenamed Alpha? Is Egghead not the genious everyone claims him to be? | |
